Women's Health
Personalized Care for Every Stage of Your Health
At You Matter Healthcare, we understand that women’s health concerns can be personal and sometimes uncomfortable to discuss. Our goal is to provide a private, respectful, and judgment-free environment where you can feel comfortable talking openly about your health.
Whether you are due for a routine Pap smear, experiencing new vaginal symptoms, or simply want STI testing for peace of mind, we are here to help.
Pap Smears & Cervical Cancer Screening
Routine cervical cancer screening is an important part of preventive healthcare.
We offer Pap smears and cervical cancer screening based on your age, medical history, previous screening results, and current screening recommendations.
During your visit, we can also discuss:
- Previous abnormal Pap smear results
- HPV and cervical cancer screening
- Menstrual or gynecological concerns
- Appropriate follow-up and referrals when needed
Vaginal Concerns
Changes in vaginal discharge, odor, itching, or irritation can occur for many reasons. Instead of trying to determine the cause on your own, we can evaluate your symptoms and perform appropriate testing.
Schedule a women’s health visit if you’re experiencing:
- Vaginal discharge
- Vaginal itching or irritation
- Unusual or persistent vaginal odor
- Burning or discomfort
- Painful urination
- Pelvic or vaginal discomfort
- Changes in your usual vaginal symptoms
- Concerns following sexual activity
Depending on your symptoms and examination, testing may be performed to determine whether an infection or another condition may be responsible.
STI & Vaginal Infection Testing
You Matter Healthcare offers confidential testing for common sexually transmitted and vaginal infections, including:
STI Testing:
- Gonorrhea
- Chlamydia
- Trichomoniasis
- Syphilis
- HIV
- Herpes simplex virus (HSV), when clinically appropriate
Vaginal Infection Testing:
- Bacterial vaginosis (BV)
- Candida/yeast infections
Your provider will determine which tests are appropriate based on your symptoms, history, examination, potential exposures, and individual risk factors.
No Symptoms? You Can Still Get Tested.
Not every sexually transmitted infection causes noticeable symptoms. Testing may be appropriate after a new sexual partner, possible exposure, unprotected sexual activity, or simply as part of taking a proactive approach to your sexual health.
We believe patients should be able to ask questions about sexual health without embarrassment or judgment.
What Happens After Testing?
When your results are available, we will review them with you and discuss the next steps. When appropriate, treatment can be prescribed or provided, and additional testing, follow-up, partner-related guidance, or referral may be recommended.
